Naturforsch. 43c, 790-792 (1988); received May 6/July 1, 1988 Leucinodis orbonalis, Lepidoptera, Pyralidae, Sex Pheromone, (£)-l 1-Hexadecenyl acetate (F)-ll-Hexadecenyl acetate is the major volatile component of the sex pheromone gland of female Leucinodis orbonalis collected from Sri Lanka. (-E')-ll-hexadecen-l-ol was also found in trace quantities.
